G. GlobalDesignerHub — Security Policy & User Responsibilities
This Security Policy defines security practices, acceptable use requirements, and your responsibilities as a registered user of GlobalDesignerHub. By creating an account and using our services, you agree to comply with these security terms and help protect the platform and community.
1. Our Security Practices
GlobalDesignerHub implements industry-standard measures to protect your data:
- Encryption: Data in transit uses TLS/SSL encryption; sensitive data at rest is encrypted.
- Access controls: Role-based access, least-privilege principles, and regular access reviews.
- Infrastructure: Secure hosting, monitoring, and intrusion detection.
- Payment security: We do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by PCI-compliant gateways.
- Incident response: We have procedures to detect, contain, investigate, and remediate security incidents.
No system is 100% secure. We continuously assess and improve our security posture.
2. Your Security Responsibilities (Required)
As a registered user, you must:
- Maintain account security: Use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.
- No account sharing: Do not share your account, password, or session tokens with others. Each person must have their own account.
- Secure your device: Use up-to-date operating systems and browsers; avoid accessing the platform from compromised or public devices when possible.
- Report suspicious activity: Immediately notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or any security incident.
- Protect others: Do not attempt to access other users’ accounts, harvest credentials, or exploit vulnerabilities.
Failure to uphold these responsibilities may result in account suspension or termination and may expose you to liability.
3. Prohibited Security-Related Conduct
You must not:
- Probe, scan, or test our systems for vulnerabilities without prior written authorization.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, or rate limits.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the platform in ways that violate our Terms of Service.
- Intercept, collect, or misuse data belonging to other users or GlobalDesignerHub.
- Impersonate GlobalDesignerHub, its staff, or other users to gain unauthorized access or deceive others.
Violations may lead to immediate account termination, legal action, and cooperation with law enforcement.
4. Reporting Security Incidents
To report a security concern—including suspected breaches, vulnerabilities, or abuse:
- Email [email protected] with the subject line “Security Report”.
- Include a clear description, steps to reproduce (if applicable), and your contact information.
- Do not disclose or exploit vulnerabilities publicly before we have had a reasonable opportunity to address them.
We will acknowledge receipt promptly and work to address valid reports. We appreciate responsible disclosure.
5. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant regulators as required by applicable law. Notifications will describe the nature of the incident and steps we are taking in response.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Security Policy to reflect new threats, best practices, or regulatory requirements. The “Last updated” date will change when revisions occur. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
